About the Program
Nursing is a noble health care profession. The function of a nurse is to assist a person—sick or well—in performing activities contributing to health, recovery or to peaceful death. The program provides an opportunity for nurses to upgrade knowledge and skills to respond to changing health needs of society, maintain clinical competence, develop teaching/administrative/research skills, and promote personal & professional growth.
The Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery aims to prepare nurses with a sound educational programme to function as efficient members of the health team, supporting the goal of “health for all”.

Eligibility
- A candidate who has passed Intermediate / 10+2 examination or any other equivalent examination (preferably with Science).
- The candidate should have completed the age of 17 to 35 years at the time of admission to the course.
